How-To Guide

  1. Step 1: Upload Image

    Click the upload area, or drag and drop your image file (JPG, PNG, WebP) into the upload box. After successful upload, you will see a preview of the original image and its file size on the left.

  2. Step 2: Adjust Compression Settings (Optional)

    You can configure the following settings based on your needs:

    • Compression Quality: Drag the slider to set the compression quality. A lower percentage means a higher compression ratio and a smaller file, but may result in greater quality loss.
    • Output Format: Choose to "Keep Original Format" or specify a conversion to JPG, PNG, or WebP.
    • Resize: Enter the target maximum width or height. Checking "Maintain Aspect Ratio" will prevent the image from being distorted.

  3. Step 3: Start Compression

    After configuring the settings, click the blue Compress Image button. The tool will immediately start processing your image.

  4. Step 4: Preview and Download

    Once compression is complete, the right preview area will display the compressed image and its file size. You can visually compare the changes before and after compression. If you are satisfied with the result, click the green Download button to save the optimized image to your computer. You can also click the Reset button to process a new image.

Why didn't my PNG image size decrease significantly after compression?

PNG is a lossless compression format, especially suitable for images with transparent backgrounds or simple color blocks. For such images, the compression effect may not be as significant. If your PNG image is a photograph, try converting it to JPG or WebP format, which usually achieves a higher compression rate.

Can I process images in bulk?

The current version does not support batch processing; only one image can be processed at a time. We are working hard to develop a batch processing feature, so stay tuned!
