Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is this image cropping tool free?

Yes, our online image cropping tool is completely free. You can use all features without limits, and there's no need to register or pay any fees.

Are uploaded images stored on your servers? Is my privacy secure?

We take your privacy very seriously. All image processing is done locally in your browser. Image files are not uploaded to our servers. Therefore, neither your original nor your cropped images are stored by us. Please use it with confidence.

What image formats are supported?

This tool supports major image formats, including JPEG, PNG, WEBP, and BMP. We recommend using these common formats for the best experience. The final downloaded image will be in PNG format to ensure image quality, especially for the transparent background of circular crops.

Why is the background black after a circular crop?

An image with a circular crop is saved in PNG format with a transparent background. Some image viewers cannot display transparency correctly and will default to a black or white background. When you use this image on a website, in a presentation, or in other designs that support transparency, the background will be transparent as intended.
