Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is this tool free to use?

Yes, our online PDF Splitter is completely free, with no hidden costs or usage limits.

Are my files secure? Are they uploaded to a server?

Your files are completely secure. All PDF processing is done directly in your local browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to any server. We cannot access your data, ensuring your privacy is protected.

Are there any limits on file size or page count?

Theoretically, there are no strict limits. However, since processing happens locally, very large files (e.g., over 100MB or thousands of pages) may consume significant computer memory and CPU, which could slow down the process or cause your browser to become unresponsive. For the best experience, we recommend working with standard-sized files.

Why can't I upload or process my PDF file?

This could be due to several reasons:
1. The file is corrupted.
2. The file is password-protected with editing restrictions. Our tool does not currently support decrypting or processing encrypted files with editing limitations.
3. Your browser is outdated or has JavaScript disabled.
